Applicant must be a Texas resident, a graduate of a Texas high school, and a student enrolled full time at an accredited Texas college or university with the intention of completing requirements toward a first bachelor's degree. Freshman applicant must meet one of the following requirements: rank in top tenth of class, rank in top quarter of class and a minimum SAT Reasoning combined score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 27), rank in second quarter of class and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 30), or rank in third or fourth quarters of class and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 32).
