    Applicant must be a permanent resident of Florida who is enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the state of Florida and is entering the second year of a two-year school, or junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed for a two-year school; 60 credit hours for a four-year school by may in order to be eligible.     Applicant must be the dependent child or unremarried spouse of a Florida veteran or servicemember who died as a result of service-connected injuries, diseases, or disabilities sustained while on active duty or who have been certified by the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs as having service-connected 100% permanent and total disabilities. The veteran or servicemember must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who was a Florida resident for one year immediately preceding time of death and who died as a result of a service-connected disability sustained while on active duty. Veteran/servicemember may also have been classified as a P.O.W. or M.I.A. by the Armed Forces of the United States or as a civilian personnel captured while servicing with the consent or authorization of the United States government during wartime service. The child or spouse must be a Florida resident and a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program for a minimum of six credit hours, 180 clock hours, or the equivalent at a post-secondary institution.
