  1. NEEBC Scholarship Award

    Applicant must be a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student who is considering a career in a benefits-related area such as: health care program design, pension plan design, implementation or administration, retirement strategies, ERISA and legal aspects of employee benefits, work/life programs, health risk management, institutional investing of retirement savings, multi-employer plans, workers compensation, actuarial and underwriting analysis, or employee benefits communications. Selection will be based upon specific employee benefit related study, activities, and goals, school and community activities, work experience, future potential, and academic performance. Application, transcript, and two recommendations are required to be submitted.

  2. NTA Massachusetts Undergraduate Scholarship

    Applicant must be a permanent resident of Massachusetts who is enrolled as a student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the state of Massachusetts with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must be a student entering the second year of a two-year school, or junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed for a two-year school; 60 credit hours for a four-year school by May in order to be eligible. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: “Discuss what segment of the travel and tourism or hospitality industry your current program of study focuses on. What opportunities are you taking advantage of as you prepare for a career in the industry? Please tell us about your academic and extracurricular activities and experiences, i.e. work, internships, etc., and how they tie into your present and future goals." Award will be sent to the recipient's financial aid office for the fall semester to cover tuition, books, and educational fees only. hospitality with focus on travel and tourism, tourism-specific area

  3. New England Regional Student Program

    Applicant must be a resident of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont who is enrolled or plans to enroll in a major program at a New England public college or university that is not offered by a public university in applicant's home state.

  4. Yawkey Scholarship Program

    Applicant must be an individual who has faced significant obstacles and life circumstances that have made study and achievement challenging. Applicant must come from a low-income family and whose Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is no greater than $5,000. Award is the maximum amount per year and is based on the level of demonstrated financial need after considering all available federal, state, and other grants and scholarships.
