Abe and Annie Seibel Foundation Loan

Applicant must be a Texas resident, a graduate of a Texas high school, and a student enrolled full time at an accredited Texas college or university with the intention of completing requirements toward a first bachelor's degree. Freshman applicant must meet one of the following requirements: rank in top tenth of class, rank in top quarter of class and a minimum SAT Reasoning combined score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 27), rank in second quarter of class and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 30), or rank in third or fourth quarters of class and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 32). Sophomore, junior, and senior applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Co-signer is required. Interest-free loan.

Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

Beasley Foundation Grant

Applicant must be a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA (2.5 transfer GPA), rank in top quarter of class, or a minimum combined SAT I score of 1050 (composite ACT score of 23). Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership potential, and FAFSA.

Chancellor Scholarship

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1345 (composite ACT score of 29).

Children of U.S. Military who are Missing in Action or Prisoners of War (MIA/POWs) Exemption

Applicant must be a Texas resident who is the dependent child of a Texas resident who is a POW or MIA; proof of parent's status from the Department of Defense is required. Applicant must attend a public college or university in Texas, and be under 21 years of age or under 25 years of age if majority of financial support is from parent.

Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF) Grant

Applicant must be a regional officer of the Christian Youth Fellowship of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Dean's Scholarship

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1230 (composite ACT score of 27).

Distinguished Scholar Award

Applicant must be a National Merit or National Achievement finalist who listed TCU as a first choice college with the National Merit Corporation by February 1, or a National Hispanic finalist who listed TCU as a first choice college with The College Board.

Early High School Graduation Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Texas who completed the requirements for graduation from a Texas public high school in no more than 36 consecutive months. Applicant must attend a Texas college or university.

Faculty Scholarship

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1230 (composite ACT score of 27).

Good Samaritan Foundation Scholarship for Nursing

Selection is based upon applicant's financial need, aptitude, and dedication. Interview is required. Applicant must attend a Texas school. nursing

Hinson-Hazelwood College Access Loan

Applicant must be a Texas resident enrolled at least half time at a Texas college or university. Applicant must have cosigner with good credit standing.

Hope Pierce Tartt Scholarship

Applicants must be residents of Harrison, Gregg, Marion, Panola, or Upshur counties, must be enrolled as a full-time student, maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better and have a grade average of "C" or better. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and must not be a close relative or member of the Board of Trustees; officer or employee of Hope Pierce Tartt Scholarship Fund or Bank One, NA. Application must be made through the Financial Aid Office of the school of your choice.

License Plate Insignia Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Texas and be attending a school in Texas. Selection is based upon financial need.

Millhollon Educational Trust Loan

Applicant must be a Texas resident attending a Texas school who is 25 years old or younger. Financial need must be demonstrated and interview is required.

Minister and Minister's Dependent Grant

Applicant must be one of the following: under age 23 and an unmarried dependent of a full-time Christian Church minister or missionary; a resident or employee of Juliette Fowler Home; the spouse of a full-time student at Brite Divinity School graduate seminary; the spouse of a full-time Christian Church minister; or a full-time Christian Church minister who wishes to continue part time in undergraduate program.

Moody Scholar Program

Applicant must have a minimum 88 average, be in the top quarter of their class, must attend college in the state of Texas and must demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be a graduate of a Galveston County high school.

Nordan Fine Arts Program

Applicant must demonstrate exceptional talent in art, ballet and modern dance, music, or theatre.

Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be an active member of Phi Theta Kappa at time of application and have successfully completed at least 27 semester hours in preceding academic year.

Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

Provost Scholarship

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1230 (composite ACT score of 27).

St. David's Medical Center Healthcare Volunteers Scholarship

Applicant must attend an institution in Texas. GPA, a sealed recommendation, and a written paragraph on why applicant should receive the scholarship are required to be submitted. Application may be found through contacting the contact person. health science

St. David's Neal Kocurek Scholarship

Applicant must be pursuing a career in a health care-related profession. Application form, essay, three official letters of recommendation, official scholastic transcript, first page of the Federal Income Tax Form, copy of Proof of United States Citizenship, and a recent photograph are required to be submitted. Toward Excellence, Access, & Success (TEXAS) Grant

Applicant must be a Texas resident who has not been convicted of a felony or crime involving a controlled substance, has financial need, has an EFC less than or equal to 4000, and registers for the Selective Service or is exempt from this requirement. Applicant must enroll in a non-profit public college or university in Texas within 16 months of graduation from a public or accredited private high school in Texas and have accumulated no more than 30 semester hours excluding those earned for dual or concurrent courses or awarded for credit by examination (AP, IB or CLEP). In order to apply, applicant must submit FAFSA.

Toward Excellence, Access, & Success (TEXAS) Grant II

Applicant must be a Texas resident with financial need who is enrolled at least half-time in an associates degree or certificate program at Texas public community, technical, or state college, and who has never been convicted of a felony or of a crime involving a controlled substance. To qualify, applicant's EFC cannot exceed $2,000. Award amount must be equal to the lesser of the student's need or tuition and required fees (based on state average).

Transfer Chancellor Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and an Associate of Arts degree from a junior college or at least 64 transferable credit hours. Selection is based upon student essay, teacher evaluation, and extracurricular activities or work experience.

Transfer Deans Scholarship

Applicant must have successfully completed at least 27 transferable semester hours with a minimum 3.25 GPA.

Transfer Faculty Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and at least 27 credit hours of transferable coursework. Selection is based upon an essay, teacher evaluation, and extracurricular activities or work experience.

Transfer TCU Scholarship

Applicant must have successfully completed at least 27 semester hours in preceding academic year. Minimum award is given to applicants with 3.5-3.74 GPA. A minimum 3.75 GPA is required for maximum award.

Tuition Equalization Grant

Applicant must be a Texas resident enrolled at a Texas college or university with financial need. Award is per academic school year.

Valedictorian Scholarship

Applicant must be valedictorian of graduating class.
