Matching Scholarships for Princeton University

  1. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

  2. Educational Opportunity Fund Grant

    Applicant must be from an educationally disadvantaged background and demonstrate financial need. Applicant must be a full-time, matriculated student at a New Jersey college or university and be a resident of New Jersey for at least 12 consecutive months.

  3. Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars

    Applicant must be (and have been for the previous 12 consecutive months) a New Jersey resident planning to attend a New Jersey college or university full-time. Applicant must be able to demonstrate academic achievement based upon secondary school records and SAT scores at the end of their junior year.

  4. HSF/Citi Fellow Scholarship Program

    Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be a current sophomore enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected recipient must be enrolled as a junior during the following academic year.     Applicant must be of Huguenot ancestry.

  6. NJSTARS (Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship)

    Applicant must graduate from a New Jersey high school who has graduated within top one-fifth of their class and who will be attending a New Jersey community college as a full-time student. Eligibility is limited to first time full-time freshmen.

  7. NTA New Jersey Undergraduate Scholarship

    Applicant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey who is enrolled as a full- or part-time student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the state of New Jersey with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must be a student entering the second year of a two-year school, or junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed for a two-year school; 60 credit hours for a four-year school by May in order to be eligible. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: “Discuss what segment of the travel and tourism or hospitality industry your current program of study focuses on. What opportunities are you taking advantage of as you prepare for a career in the industry? Please tell us about your academic and extracurricular activities and experiences, i.e. work, internships, etc., and how they tie into your present and future goals." Award will be sent to the recipient's financial aid office for the fall semester to cover tuition, books, and educational fees only. tourism and travel hospitality

  8. Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

    Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

  9. QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship

    Applicant must be a high school seniors. Primary selection criteria are academic achievement and low-income status. Specific income thresholds are not used, but various factors are considered, including total family income, family size, and extenuating circumstances. Historically, most award recipients have come from households earning under $60,000 per year. Match program pairs academically outstanding low-income students with admission and full scholarships to partner colleges. College Match scholarships cover tuition, room and board, and most partner colleges automatically renew the award for all four years.

  10. Tuition Aid Grant

    Applicant must be or intend to be a full-time undergraduate at a New Jersey college or university, demonstrate financial need, and must have lived in New Jersey for at least 12 consecutive months. Amount of an individual grant varies based upon financial need, cost of attendance, and available funding.
