North Carolina A&T State, founded in 1891, is a public, historically black university. Programs are offered through the Schools of Agriculture and Environmental and Allied Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Nursing, and Technology.     Applicant must be attending school in North Carolina for their undergraduate or graduate degree conducting cellular, molecular, or genetic research on aging-related illnesses. Award provides funding for chemical, molecular and genetic research on aging or aging-related illnesses.

  3. HSF/Hewlett Packard Diversity in Education Scholarship Program

    Applicant must be an underrepresented minority (African American, Latino, or American Indian) student who is looking to pursue a bachelor of science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering at an HP scholarship university. Award is for $12,000 over four years; upon acceptance into the program, each HP Scholar receives a Productivity Package which includes an HP laptop, printer, and PDA. computer science and engineering

  4. Intellectual Property Law School Scholarship

    Applicant must be a minority student entering or attending Law School in the fall of 2008 who has a demonstrated commitment to developing a career in intellectual property law. Award is per school year (two semesters, excluding summer school semesters and intersession) beginning with the fall session.

  5. Jagannathan Scholarship

    Applicant must be a North Carolina resident and enroll full time at one of the 16 U of North Carolina constituent institutions. Preference is given to the children of employees of Tiepet, Inc., Universal Fibers, and related companies.

  6. North Carolina Student Incentive Grant

    Applicant must be a resident of North Carolina, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled full-time at a school in North Carolina.

  7. Triangle Scholarship Program

    Applicant must fit into one of the following categories and criteria: (a) graduating high school senior who: plans to enroll as freshmen at any of North Carolina's post-secondary educational or technical institutions and has a minimum 2.5 GPA; (b) a working single mother who: is actively working in the Research Triangle Area, has a high school diploma or a GED by June, and currently attends or plans to enroll at any of North Carolina's post-secondary educational or technical institutions; (c) a health care profession student who: has a high school diploma or a GED by June and currently attends or plans to enroll at any North Carolina community college to pursue a certificate, diploma or associate's degree in the health care professions.
