Messiah, founded in 1909, is a private, Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences. Its 471-acre campus in located in Grantham, PA, ten miles southwest of Harrisburg. Matching Scholarships for Messiah College

  1. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

  2. American Legion - Pennsylvania Auxiliary Scholarship

    Applicant must be the child of a veteran or of a deceased veteran and have financial need. Applicant must be a graduate of a Pennsylvania high school who is planning to attend a Pennsylvania institution.

  3. Covenant Scholarship

    Applicant must be a full-time student who is a member of the Brethren in Christ Churches.

  4. Dean's Scholarship in the Arts

    For music, award is based upon the audition for acceptance. For art, award is based upon a portfolio that must be presented to the department. For theatre, the award is dependent upon previous acting experience and a written statement.

  5. Joseph P. Gavenonis Scholarship

    Applicant must attend a secondary school in Pennsylvania and be the child of a Pennsylvania American Legion Member who is in good standing, is deceased, or has been killed or is missing in action.

  6. Messiah College Grant

    Applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need.

  7. President's Scholarship for College Honors

    Applicant must rank in the top 10% of class and have a minimum combined SAT score of 1300 or composite ACT score of 30. Applicant must have high academic achievement, Christian character, and be able to demonstrate leadership potential. 60% of tuition.

  8. Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

    Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

  9. Provost's Scholarship for Academic Achievement

    Applicant must rank in top quarter of their graduating class or have a minimum combined SAT score greater than or equal to 1100 (composite ACT score greater than or equal to 24), or have a high school GPA greater than or equal to a 3.5.

  10. Technology Scholarship

    Applicant must be a Pennsylvania resident who is a high school graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be enrolled in an approved science or technology program at a Pennsylvania school, including community colleges, independent two-year colleges or private licensed schools offering approved programs. The goal of this program is to help address the critical need to educate and retain a workforce of highly trained technology experts that will help Pennsylvania attract and support new employers. Recipients of these scholarships must agree to work full-time in Pennsylvania following graduation, one year for each year that a scholarship award is received. science and technology

  11. The Lloyd and Lois Martin Multicultural Scholarship

    Applicant must rank in the top 10$ of their graduating class, have a minimum 3.6 GPA, and a minimum SAT Reasoning (critical reading and math only) score of 1200 (ACT score of 26). Applicant must demonstrate significant leadership, service, or ministry involvement as well as have a record of promoting racial and ethnic diversity and reconciliation.

  12. Vollmer Scholarship in the Arts

    For music, award is based upon the audition for acceptance. For art, award is based upon a portfolio that must be presented to the department. For theatre, the award is dependent upon previous acting experience and a written statement. 60% tuition for four years at rate of entrance
