Matching Scholarships for Marquette University

1. Academic Achievement Scholarship

   Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident enrolled full-time at a U of Wisconsin campus, Wisconsin Tech Coll or independent Wisconsin institution. Applicant must have the highest GPA in his or her class.

5. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

   Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

6. Burke Scholarship

   Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident who has rank in the top tenth of his or her class, a minimum combined SAT I score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 28), and who has shown exceptional commitment to others through community volunteer time and leadership. FAFSA required. plus a stipend

7. Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship

   Applicant must have a strong caddie record, excellent academics, outstanding character, and be able to demonstrate financial need. High school evaluation, caddie evaluation, and official financial documentation including a copy of parents’ most recent federal tax return and the required College Scholarship Service Financial Aid Profile are required. Full tuition and housing.

8. College Scholarship Competition

   Competitions are held by colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication, Engineering, Health Sciences, Nursing and School of Education. The recipient of a college scholarship is required to enroll in the college that sponsors the award.

9. Competitive Scholarship for Transfers from Two-year Colleges

   Selection is based upon academic qualifications, extracurricular activities, leadership, and a written essay.

    Award is for a total of $28,000 over three or four years. Award replaces any other Marquette scholarship offer. Transfer students

13. NTA La Macchia Family Undergraduate Scholarship

    Applicant must be a permanent resident of the United States who is enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university in Wisconsin as a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program. Applicant must be entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of the academic year of application with at least 60 credit hours completed by May to be eligible to receive the award. A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is required. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: "Discuss what segment of the travel and tourism or hospitality industry your current program of study focuses on. What opportunities are you taking advantage of as you prepare for a career in the industry? Please tell us about your academic and extracurricular activities and experiences, i.e. work, internships, etc., and how they tie into your present and future goals." 14. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

    Selection is based upon academic qualifications, extracurricular activities, leadership, essay, and recommendation from applicant's Phi Theta Kappa advisor.

15. Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

    Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

16. Raynor Distinguished Scholars

    Applicant must rank in the top 5% of class and have a minimum composite ACT score of 30 (combined SAT I score of 1300). Semifinalists are interviewed by a selection committee.

17. Talent Incentive Program Grant

    Applicant must be an educationally disadvantaged student from Wisconsin and attending a Wisconsin college or university.
