Matching Scholarships for Lewis and Clark College

  1. Bob Hasson Memorial Scholarship

    Applicant must be a high school senior living in Oregon who is planning to attend any Oregon accredited public, private college, university or trade school as a full-time student. Essay on 'Credit in the 21st Century' is required (1,000-1,500 words).

  2. Douglas County Community Scholarship

    Applicant must be an Oregon resident, a graduate of a Douglas County high school, be enrolled full time at a California, Idaho, Oregon, or Washington school, and demonstrate financial need.

  3. Flora M. Von Der Ahe Scholarship

    Applicant must be an Oregon resident, be a graduate of a Umatilla County secondary school, have a minimum secondary school GPA of 2.5, be enrolled full time at an Oregon school, and demonstrate financial need.

  4. Halton Foundation/Caterpillar Matching Grant

    Applicant must be employed by the Halton Company. Award is both an internship and scholarship. Halton Company pays 100% for tuition and books for students who intern at the Halton Co. while completing their A.A.S. in Diesel Technology from either Portland Community College or Clark College.

  5. John P. Hounsell Scholarship

    Applicant must be an Oregon resident, have graduated from a secondary school in Hood River County, be enrolled or planning to enroll full time at an Oregon school or in the graduate program of a Western Higher Education Compact school, and demonstrate financial need.

  6. Mertie and Harley Stevens Memorial Scholarship

    Applicant must be an Oregon resident, be a graduate of a Clackamas County secondary school, be enrolled full time at an Oregon school, and demonstrate financial need. Secondary school applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Post-secondary applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

  7. National Science Foundation Oregon Teaching Scholars

    Preference is given to outstanding students in mathematics or science, and to members of underrepresented groups in teaching mathematics and sciences (for example, students of color or with multiple language backgrounds, women in physical sciences, male elementary teachers). Essay and letters of recommendation required. Applicant must attend an Oregon college. mathematics education, science education

  8. Russ Griffith Memorial Scholarship

    Applicant must be currently attending an eligible Datatel client institution who has returned to school after an absence of five years or longer. Awarded to full or part-time, undergraduate and graduate students. Personal statement essay is also required that discusses the impact of being a returning student.
