Corban College is a church-affiliated college. Founded in 1935 in Arizona, it moved to California before acquiring its present campus in 1969. The 100-acre campus is located in Salem, 45 miles south of Portland.

Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship
Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

Alumni Scholarship
Applicant must be a student with at least one parent who graduate from Corban College/Western Baptist Bible College. Award requires no application; students are automatically considered upon acceptance into the college.

Bob Hasson Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a high school senior living in Oregon who is planning to attend any Oregon accredited public, private college, university or trade school as a full-time student. Essay on 'Credit in the 21st Century' is required (1,000-1,500 words).

Chancellor's Scholarship
Applicant must be a new freshman student with an academic score between 21 and 25 (see brochure in application guideline/link). SAT Reasoning or ACT and GPA are required. Award requires no application; students are automatically considered upon acceptance into the college.

Chemeketa Scholars
Applicant must be a transfer student from Chemeketa Community College with 47 transferable credits and a minimum 3.25 GPA. Award requires no application; students are automatically considered upon acceptance into the college.

Christian Worker Dependent Grant
Applicant must be a dependent of a Christian worker (family's primary income must come from full-time vocational ministry with not-for-profit organization) and be able to demonstrate financial need. FAFSA is required.

Applicant must be an Oregon resident, be a graduate of a Umatilla County secondary school, have a minimum secondary school GPA of 2.5, be enrolled full time at an Oregon school, and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must be a new student who has had extensive experience in one or all of the following categories: church and community services, extracurricular activities, special awards, and/or part or full-time jobs.

Applicant must be an Oregon resident, have graduated from a secondary school in Hood River County, be enrolled or planning to enroll full time at an Oregon school or in the graduate program of a Western Higher Education Compact school, and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must be an Oregon resident, be a graduate of a Clackamas County secondary school, be enrolled full time at an Oregon school, and demonstrate financial need. Secondary school applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5. Post-secondary applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students
Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.
