Matching Scholarships for Brown University

  1. Albert E. And Florence W. Newton Nurse Scholarship

    Applicant must be a license R.N. from a Rhode Island seeking a baccalaureate or graduate nursing degree. Preference will be given to students intending to practice nursing in Rhode Island. nursing

  2. Aldo Freda Legislative Pages Scholarship

    Applicant must be a Rhode Island Legislative Page who is enrolled in college or university.

  3. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

  4. Antonio Cirino Memorial Art Education Fellowship

    Applicant must be a graduate student in arts education who has been a Rhode Island resident for at least five years. Preference is given to visual artists; however, writers, actors and composers interested in teaching are also encouraged to apply. RISD students or graduates are not eligible for this fellowship.

  5. Fordyce Remsen Lozier & Mary Williams Horr Lozier Scholarship

    Applicant must be a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity who is attending Brown University.

  6. NEEBC Scholarship Award

    Applicant must be a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student who is considering a career in a benefits-related area such as: health care program design, pension plan design, implementation or administration, retirement strategies, ERISA and legal aspects of employee benefits, work/life programs, health risk management, institutional investing of retirement savings, multi-employer plans, workers compensation, actuarial and underwriting analysis, or employee benefits communications. Selection will be based upon specific employee benefit related study, activities, and goals, school and community activities, work experience, future potential, and academic performance. Application, transcript, and two recommendations are required to be submitted.

  7. New England Regional Student Program

    Applicant must be a resident of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont who is enrolled or plans to enroll in a major program at a New England public college or university that is not offered by a public university in applicant's home state.

  8. Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

    Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.
