Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship
Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

Edward S. Roth Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current full-time graduate or undergraduate student seeking a bachelor's or master's degree in manufacturing engineering. NEEBC Scholarship Award
Applicant must be a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student who is considering a career in a benefits-related area such as: health care program design, pension plan design, implementation or administration, retirement strategies, ERISA and legal aspects of employee benefits, work/life programs, health risk management, institutional investing of retirement savings, multi-employer plans, workers compensation, actuarial and underwriting analysis, or employee benefits communications. Selection will be based upon specific employee benefit related study, activities, and goals, school and community activities, work experience, future potential, and academic performance. Application, transcript, and two recommendations are required to be submitted.

NTA Massachusetts Undergraduate Scholarship
Applicant must be a permanent resident of Massachusetts who is enrolled as a student at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the state of Massachusetts with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must be a student entering the second year of a two-year school, or junior or senior year of undergraduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed for a two-year school; 60 credit hours for a four-year school by May in order to be eligible. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: “Discuss what segment of the travel and tourism or hospitality industry your current program of study focuses on. What opportunities are you taking advantage of as you prepare for a career in the industry? Please tell us about your academic and extracurricular activities and experiences, i.e. work, internships, etc., and how they tie into your present and future goals." National Scholars Award
Applicant must be a National Merit or National Achievement finalist and must have named Boston U as his or her first choice with the National Merit Scholarship Corp. Selection is based upon superior academic achievement.

New England Regional Student Program
Applicant must be a resident of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont who is enrolled or plans to enroll in a major program at a New England public college or university that is not offered by a public university in applicant's home state.

Phi-Theta Kappa Scholarship
Applicant must be a transfer student enrolling as a junior at Boston University with a minimum of 60 transferable credits. Selection is based upon nomination by a Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisor. Scholarship is only a two year award for recipient.

Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students
Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

ROTC Scholarship

Applicant must be an individual who has faced significant obstacles and life circumstances that have made study and achievement challenging. Award is the maximum amount per year and is based on the level of demonstrated financial need after considering all available federal, state, and other grants and scholarships.
