Matching Scholarships for Bethel College

  1. Admission with Distinction Scholarship

    Selection is based upon academic and personal records of accomplishment. All applicants are assured consideration for the award, regardless of need.

  2. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. The scholarship will be honored only at participating colleges and universities. A list of eligible colleges/universities is available at careersandcolleges.com. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

  3. Christian Workers Grant

    Applicant must be the dependent son or daughter of a pastor or missionary from any denomination. Selection and award amount are based upon financial need.

  4. Church Matching Scholarship

    Award is a dollar-for-dollar match of a scholarship provided by the applicant's church. Award is for $250 for off-campus applicants and $1,000 for on-campus applicants.

    Applicant must be active in the fellowship of a Missionary Church and submit a letter of reference from pastor.

  7. Missionary Pastor Grant

    Applicant must be the dependent son or daughter of a full-time Missionary Church pastor or missionary. Recipient must live on campus. Award is equal to one-third of the cost of tuition.

  8. National Merit Recognition Scholarship

    Applicant must be a National Merit, National Achievement, or National Hispanic Scholar Semi-Finalist or Finalist who designates Bethel College as his/her first-choice college.

  9. Pastor Billy Kirk Minority Student Award

    Selection is based upon academic record, essay submission, and extracurricular involvement. Award ranges up to the full cost of tuition.

  10. Private Colleges & Universities Community Service Scholarship For Multicultural Students

    Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.

  11. Special Education Services Scholarship

    Applicant must be an Indiana resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA who agrees to teach in Indiana upon certification. Award may be used at Indiana schools only. occupational therapy, physical therapy, special education

  12. Young Survivor Scholarship Program

    Applicant must be a United States citizen and a legal resident of Indiana or Michigan who is 20 years old or younger and is a cancer survivor. Applicant must attend, or be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school in either of those two states and be able to maintain full-time status carrying 12 or more credit hours per semester.
