  3. Alloy Education $10,000 Scholarship

    Applicant must be entering college for the first time and be accepted as a full-time freshman for the fall term. All students who use one of the two response options described in Careers and Colleges magazine or one of the three response options described in Private Colleges & Universities magazines (website registration is one of the options for both) and meet the requirements are eligible. The scholarship drawing will be held in May of each year, and the check will be issued to the institution at which the winner will enroll. You do not need to complete an application for this scholarship.

  4. Barbara Hoffius Art Scholarship

    Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

  5. Belden Brick & Supply Architectural and Masonry Scholarship

    Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA or a minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA and his/her parents or grandparents must be associated with architecture, masonry, or homebuilding.

    Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have been a resident of Kent County, Mich. for at least three years. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

Selection is based upon transcripts, letters of recommendation, and financial need.

  19. Michigan Competitve Scholarship

    Applicant must file the FAFSA and score a 23 on the ACT. Award is based on financial need and merit. Tuition and fees only.

    Applicant must be a student at an independent non-profit degree-granting college or university in Michigan. Award is based upon financial need.

  21. Monsignor Bukowski Honor Scholarship

    Applicant must have a minimum "B+" average and excellent SAT or ACT scores.

  22. NTA Michigan Undergraduate Scholarship

    Applicant must be a permanent resident of Michigan who is entering their second year of a two-year school, or junior or senior year of undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the state of Michigan. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled as a full- or part-time student in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed for a two-year school; 60 credit hours for a four-year school by May in order to be eligible. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: “Discuss what segment of the travel and tourism or hospitality industry your current program of study focuses on. What opportunities are you taking advantage of as you prepare for a career in the industry? Please tell us about your academic and extracurricular activities and experiences, i.e. work, internships, etc., and how they tie into your present and future goals."     Applications are welcome from all eligible candidates. Application and essay about their community service involvement are required; the essay should not exceed 1,200 words. Transcript, and recommendations that will verify involvement in the community (other than family members) must also be submitted. Private Colleges & Universities magazine has established a scholarship administered by the Private Colleges & Universities Scholarship Foundation to help capable multicultural students finance their education at a private college or university.
